The Associated Press is reporting that New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo will be making a statement on an agreement  reached with Toyota Motor Sales for New York residents. The agreement is to provide special accommodations for consumers whose vehicles are involved with the automaker's recent safety recalls.

Toyota and Lexus dealers will be treating their customers a bit kinder by offering at-home pickup and return of recalled vehicles, free rental cars during repairs, and reimbursement for the cost of transportation.

Meanwhile, hearings between Toyota and Congress are now underway. Check back with The College Driver for the latest!
