Kenny from the Block and his newly formed Monster World Rally Team made the race debut of their brand spankin' new Ford Fiesta.

Sno*Drift is really less of a rally track and more of an ice skating rink for these little rally cars. The already difficult race had the issues for the drivers compounded by a freezing rain storm and extremely low temperatures hitting the roads just days before the race was scheduled. Also, since studded tires happen to be illegal in Michigan, and rally cars are required to be street legal, let's just say that this was in no way an easy race.

The Monster race Fiesta was announced in the middle of last week following a photo leak that showed the Fiesta to the public. The car made its racing debut at the Sno*Drift 2010 Rally America event in Atlanta, Michigan. Even with all of the excitement in the past weeks about Ken Block signing for Ford and the announcement of the Monster Fiesta, Block managed to lose the race.

Fellow American Travis Pastrana won the event after taking advantage of Ken Block's suspension failure in the seventh stage. With Block out of the picture, the race came down to a fight between Travis Pastrana and Canadian Antoine L'Estage who drove a Mitsubishi Evo X. Pastrana took the race after finishing more than a minute and a half before L'Estage.

Block's new ride features a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that is capable of creating 490 hp. Due to restrictions placed on the cars by the Rally America series, Kenny's car will be running at 330 hp.

Until the next Rally America race where Ken Block hopefully will not break down, enjoy this video of him driving part of the Sno*Drift course at 110 mph.

TheCD's Take: We would love to see Ken Block with some proper roads and tracks under his tires.

I love how he is in 6th gear and the revs are red lining, I don't think the car can go any faster.

It can go faster than 110, it actually has a top speed of 155. They detuned the car for this race.
