It's official: Kenny from the Block has ditched Subaru and moved into Ford's place.
Ken Block first rose to prominence when he co-founded DC Shoes, which at its heart is an extremely successful footwear manufacturer for extreme sports. In the automotive world, Block gained recognition as a driver when he won the Rookie of the Year award in the Rally America Championship in 2005. Since then, Block has medaled numerous times, including three times at the annual X-Games.
Ken Block now has a cult following as a result of the Gymkhana series of videos that he has posted on Youtube. These videos showcase Block's driving skills as he maneuvers both quickly and dangerously around sharp obstacles and tight corners in locales like an airport. From these videos, there is only one word to describe Block's talent: immense.
The Gymkhana series also gained worldwide fame when James May did a feature on Ken Block and his driving skill on Top Gear. Block says that his decision to leave Subaru and join Ford was due in part to Ford's extensive pedigree in rally racing.
As part of the deal, Block will race a new Focus in the FIA World Rally Championship and a Fiesta in the Rally America series and the X Games.

Happy to see an american back in WRC!
subaru hasn't been doing well in FIA WRC so I am not surprised. I don't think they are even fielding a team next year.
