Sheryl Crow was on The Jay Leno Show taking Ford's Green Car Challenge and discussed how automakers are now realizing they can make electric cars "cool, sexy, upscale and chic."

Crow was the first Rock music artist to take the challenge and did pretty well, getting a time of 55.62 seconds. She added a one second penalty to her time on the second lap for hitting a cardboard Al Gore in the crotch, a big NO in the Green Car Challenge.

Ugh I have a gripe with Leno. I am not happy with Leno's track, for being such a motor head he has to know that its horrible. They don't have any large empty lots at Universal? They need to have a real sized track, the stars can handle it; "Top Gear's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" proves it.

Onto Ford, a Euro Ford Focus RS is sweet and we all want to see it in the states. Why do they tease us with the Focus RS knowing that they have no plans to sell it here. But GM does the same thing with their other brands so its no surprise.

The track really is a joke but I think it's more of a marketing thing for Ford and their "green" image than anything else. I don't think Leno had much say on this one..

Totally agree. It's sad that this the closest thing we have to Top Gear's "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car".
