Arriving in 2010 as a 2011 model alongside its Kia brother, the Sportage is the next gen Tucson.

Like the Kia, efficient four-cylinder engines mated to five or possibly six-speed automatics is expected. Styling is said to be similar to the Veracruz, but expect a more luxurious look like the Genesis to separate it from the Sportage.

Increased amounts of chrome will be used and it will likely have LED taillights as Hyundai moves upscale in the market. All of the expected safety features, including stability control will be standard as Hyundai continues to improve its safety image.
