GM announced yesterday that its Orion Township Assembly Plant was the chosen location of the upcoming B-class vehicle that will replace the Chevrolet Aveo.

Troy Clarke, President of GM North America said that the vehicle is "not the Chevroelt Spark" but rather another small yet-to-be revealed vehicle. We believe it will be similar to the Spark, which was the Beat concept a few years back, but will run on regular 87-octane under the hood.

It will most definitely be efficient, good looking and something that the "new GM" needs ASAP.

Production is expected to begin in 2011.
