Fisker is recalling 239 Karma sport sedans due to an issue with the high-voltage battery. Certain hose clamps may have been positioned incorrectly during assembly. If that is the case, the battery compartment cover could interfere with the host clamps and potentially cause coolant to leak from the hoses.
This would then lead to an electrical short and possibly result in a fire. Fisker is notifying the small number of owners and will replace the battery free of charge. If owners of the Karma have questions, they can contact Fisker Automotive at 1-855-575-7577 Monday-Friday.
