Suzuki has announced that they are recalling a small number of 2011-2012 Equator trucks manufactured from June 16, 2011 through August 31, 2011. The bolts that connect hte engine oil cooler and the engine oil filter to the engine in the Equator may have been manufactured below specification. The bolt may break as a result and cause an engine oil leak.

Loss of engine oil pressure would cause the engine to seize, likely leading to a crash. Suzuki is notifying the 73 affected owners and will have dealers replace the bolts. Owners may call Suzuki at 1-714-996-7040 for more information.
