Buick is planning to unveil a new compact crossover, rumored to be named Encore, at the 2012 North American International Auto Show.
The new vehicle has been called the "baby Enclave" because of (a) it's size, and (b) because it will allegedly look like its larger brother, which in essence is similar to the rest of the Buick lineup. We've even heard that some of its exterior design cues were taken from the Buick Envision concept shown at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show.
The Buick brand has been on a roll as of late, with increasing sales numbers month after month thanks to modern designs, stylish high-quality interiors, and the most features for the money. With a serious performance machine like the Regal GS, and a stylish smaller crossover to fill the gap to Enclave, sales will continue upward.
