Jay Leno loves his cars, especially the classics, and now he has a Ford Mustang 5.0 in his garage. Below is a video where Leno compares the classic 1965 Mustang to the updated version for 2011. The 1965 GT has and will always be Jay's favorite but this new iteration features the legendary 5.0, which delivers 412 hp and 390 ft.-lb of torque, all while offering 26 MPG on the highway!

THE all American Classic, it doesn’t get better than that. I ordered mine March 10th, built April 17th and it's been waiting shipment ever since... I’ve been waiting 40 years for my dream car. The wait is unbearable. I'm not going crazy... no I'm not going crazy... I'm fine.

The alloy block sheds 102 pounds from its cast-iron ancestor, while packing a 550-horsepower punch backed up with 510 ft-lb of torque. The team then massaged the suspension, and tweaked the management to not only give the GT more power and better handling dynamics, but improved mileage on top of it. This is the first time Ford has used the technology, which the company says offers improved overall performance and durability, reduced friction between piston rings and cylinder bores, improved heat transfer due to increased surface contact area and a weight savings of 8.5 pounds compared to a typical steel-sleeved block. http://www.reviewedfords.com
