Nissan and the NHTSA are recalling over 130,000 Infiniti G35 sedans and coupes made from 2005-2007. The wire harness connecting the belt tension sensor (BTS) and the occupant detection sensor (ODS) control unit under the front passenger seat could move around. This can cause wear and oxidation of the terminals and an interruption of the signal.

This could deactivate the passenger seat airbag, preventing it from deploying in the event of a crash and increasing the risk of injury. Nissan engineers are still working on a remedy to the problem and will notify the NHTSA and owners when it has one.

Owners can contact the NHTSA at 1-800-424-9153 to see if their vehicle is affected.

C0OMvU Informative, but not convincing. Something is missing but what I can not understand. But I will say frankly: bright and benevolent thoughts!....
